The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has announced that toll collection for the Cavitex C5 Link-Segment 3B will officially commence on May 9, 2026. This follows a postponement of the original start date.

Toll collection was initially set to begin on May 5, but was delayed due to ongoing fuel crises and a national energy emergency declaration. The TRB confirmed that the new toll rates will take effect on the revised date.

The TRB's advisory states that the toll fees for the route from Dr. A. Santos Ave. (Sucat, Parañaque) to Taguig are P59 for class 1 vehicles, P117 for class 2, and P176 for class 3. Rates for travel from Taguig to Roxas Boulevard or Zapote are P97, P194, and P291, respectively.

Impact on Travel Time

This six-lane, two-kilometer connector road is expected to drastically reduce travel time from 1.5 hours to just 15 minutes between Parañaque and Taguig, greatly enhancing connectivity in southern Metro Manila.

The implementation of the updated toll rate matrix shall officially commence on May 9, 2025.

The toll will be managed by the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) through its subsidiary, PEA Tollway Corporation (PEATC), which will oversee inspections along the new toll road.

This toll collection scheme is part of efforts to improve infrastructure and reduce traffic congestion in the region.
