The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) has launched free online courses in artificial intelligence and other digital skills, in collaboration with Unesco-UNEVOC and the HP Foundation.

Diverse Course Offerings

Courses covered include AI fundamentals, entrepreneurship, marketing, and business operations. Learners will explore practical applications of AI in various workplaces.

As industries continue to transform through technology and innovation, it is important that Filipinos are equipped with the skills needed to remain competitive and adaptable in the future of work. — Kiko Benitez, Tesda Secretary

  • Open to all Filipinos seeking digital skills
  • No prior education or experience required
  • Self-paced learning accessible anytime, anywhere

The Tesda Online Program is designed to be inclusive, welcoming students, overseas workers, and professionals looking to enhance their skills.

Easy Access and Requirements

To enroll, users must have a valid email address and a reliable internet connection. Accessing the courses requires a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Interested learners can register by visiting e-tesda.gov.ph, completing the registration form, and verifying their account via an emailed activation link.

Certification and Future Opportunities

Upon completing the courses, participants will receive a digital Certificate of Completion. However, this does not equate to a Tesda National Certificate, which requires in-person assessments.

The initiative is part of Tesda's broader effort to equip Filipinos with relevant skills as the workforce evolves due to technological advancements.

Through the Unesco Global Skills Academy, Tesda aims to promote lifelong learning, ensuring that the Filipino workforce remains competitive in a rapidly changing global job market.
