Cebu Football Club, known as the Gentle Giants, is set to embark on a pivotal third round in the Philippines Football League (PFL) Season 2026.
Starting on May 16, the team will play five crucial matches at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila, marking an end to their recent home stand.
Cebu FC finished the second round in third place, accumulating 42 points from 13 wins, four losses, and three draws. However, the team ended their home stretch on a disappointing note, suffering a significant 0-4 defeat to Manila Digger FC.
In their previous matches, the Gentle Giants drew 1-1 against Stallion Laguna FC and faced a 1-4 loss to One Taguig FC.
Upcoming Matches
Cebu FC will compete in Group A, facing off against the league's top six teams.
Their campaign kicks off with a rematch against Manila Digger FC on May 16, followed by a match against One Taguig FC on May 20.
They will also play Davao UMAK Aguilas on May 23, Stallion Laguna FC on May 27, and conclude the round with a clash against Kaya FC-Iloilo on May 30.
All matches will take place at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Currently, Manila Digger FC leads the standings with 52 points, remaining unbeaten in 17 matches, while One Taguig FC shares the same points. Kaya FC-Iloilo, Stallion Laguna FC, and Davao UMAK Aguilas follow in the rankings.
Cebu FC's performance in this upcoming round will be crucial for their aspirations in the league.
