Filipina tennis star Alex Eala is gearing up for a competitive summer in the United States, kicking off her hard-court season at the Mubadala DC Open from July 27 to August 2.

The tournament, a 500-tier event held in Washington D.C., will feature both singles and doubles matches, providing Eala a key opportunity to hone her skills ahead of the US Open scheduled from August 30 to September 13.

In doubles, Eala will team up with American tennis icon Venus Williams after receiving a wildcard entry. Their partnership previously saw success at the Bad Homburg Open, where they reached the quarterfinals.
