Davao City celebrated its outstanding athletes during the 32nd So Kim Cheng Sports Foundation Awards on July 18, 2026, at the Eskina of the Lanang Business Park. The event recognized local athletes who excelled in national and international competitions.

- Female Athlete of the Year: Hailey Dominique So (Karate)
- Coach of the Year: Al Stephen Magatao (Karate)
- Sports Leadership Award: Rameses Tancontian (Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association)
- National Sports Association of the Year: Karate Pilipinas Sports Federation Incorporated-XI
Berco and So, both members of the Association for the Advancement of Karatedo, were celebrated for their achievements in karate. The awards ceremony also honored various city athletes across disciplines, including archery, chess, and volleyball.
