Out of 33,640 applicants, 24,630 qualified to take the PMA Entrance Exam. The rigorous selection process ensures that only the most capable candidates are admitted. This year, the largest group of incoming cadets hails from the Cordillera region, followed closely by the National Capital Region and Calabarzon.
During the ceremony, Vice Admiral Caesar Bernard Valencia, PMA superintendent, emphasized the Academy's commitment to adapting its curriculum in response to modern security challenges. He stated that the cadets would receive training in various critical areas, including cybersecurity and strategic leadership.
The incoming members of PMA Class 2030 will follow an enhanced Bachelor of Science in Management majoring in Security Studies, designed to equip them for contemporary military demands.
