Families of three students killed in the tragic San Jose National High School shooting received free housing units from the National Housing Authority (NHA) in Tacloban City.
The beneficiaries, families of Chris Lorenz Fabian, Ayeesa Nicole Dazo, and Joyancee Separa, were devastated by the June 22 attack carried out by two fellow students.

These housing units are being awarded to you free of charge and you will not pay a single peso for them.

The turnover ceremony took place on Wednesday, with NHA Assistant General Manager Alvin Feliciano and other officials present to facilitate the process.
This initiative is part of a broader government effort, initiated by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., to provide support to families affected by the shooting.
During the ceremony, Dayot emphasized that the NHA is committed to helping the families rebuild their lives after such a devastating loss. He shared that his visit to the families reinforced the need for ongoing support.
Each family received a 26.8-square-meter housing unit and expressed their gratitude, promising to care for their new homes as they begin to heal.
The NHA is also working to ensure that the housing project is connected to essential utilities, including water, as part of their commitment to these families.
