The Comelec’s decision, which stems from a petition alleging material misrepresentations, has prompted the party to seek relief from the Supreme Court. Macarambon expressed gratitude to supporters for their ongoing trust and commitment.
In his remarks, Macarambon invoked faith, referencing Quranic verses that emphasize personal responsibility and the promise of divine justice. He stated, "Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves," reinforcing the party's commitment to its mission.
The disqualification has been labeled by Taib as politically motivated harassment, aimed at silencing their voice in the upcoming elections. This situation highlights the ongoing challenges faced by political entities in the Bangsamoro region, where historical tensions affect contemporary governance.
