Residents received essential food supplies and hangers for drying clothes, part of the foundation's ongoing Operation Bayanihan initiative. Many families remain in evacuation centers as they recover from the flooding.
Mark Anthony Mariano, a local resident, highlighted the struggles faced by many. He lost his job at a local chicharon kitchen and has resorted to part-time work using a raft to transport goods and people.
The GMA Kapuso Foundation team also reached evacuees in harder-to-access coastal areas, demonstrating its commitment to aid those most in need.
