Reine Therese Bad-ang, a senior at the University of the Immaculate Conception in Davao City, has recently gained significant international recognition for her outstanding academic achievements.
On September 7, 2026, she and classmate Whitney Pajarillaga were awarded the Diamond Award at the ASIAROPE Olympiad in Bangkok, Thailand, marking a high point in their academic pursuits.
This accolade followed Bad-ang's success in earlier competitions, including a Silver Award at the AmerAsian Tesla Olympiad in Houston on May 26, and another Diamond Award at the Global English Language Olympiad of Southeast Asia in Singapore on April 7.
