Claude Guillemot, one of the co-founders of Ubisoft, was killed in a plane crash near La Baule, France, on Friday evening.
The accident involved a twin-engine Cessna 421, which crashed shortly before landing at La Baule-Escoublac Airport, as confirmed by local authorities.
Both Guillemot and a flight instructor, who also perished in the crash, were noted to be experienced pilots.
Investigation Underway
Mayor Franck Louvrier stated that an investigation is currently being conducted to determine the cause of the crash.
Ubisoft has confirmed Guillemot's death but has not provided any further details.
