SM Prime Holdings, Inc. has unveiled the P7-billion SM Seaside Cebu Arena, expanding its South Road Properties (SRP) estate in Cebu City. This new venue is designed to enhance the integrated development of the area.

Located near SM Seaside City Cebu, the arena is part of a larger development that includes the upcoming SMX Convention Center Seaside Cebu and several hotels. This strategic positioning is expected to generate economic opportunities for local entrepreneurs and communities.
The venue will kick off its events calendar with the BINI Signals World Tour on July 11, followed by performances from popular artists like IV of Spades and KZ Tandingan. SM Prime envisions this arena as a long-term asset for Cebu, attracting both tourists and local visitors.
As part of its broader vision, SM Prime aims to provide a world-class platform for live events, which may enhance Cebu's appeal as a tourist destination.
Despite the positive developments, SM Prime shares experienced a 1.74% decline, closing at P18.10 per share on the day of the announcement.
