Tropical Depression Henry exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on July 1, 2026, just 18 hours after forming. As of 10 PM, it was located 470 kilometers west of Bacnotan, La Union.

PAGASA reported that Henry developed at 2 AM on July 1 and quickly gained strength, reaching maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h and gustiness of up to 55 km/h.
Despite its swift exit, Henry's outer bands continue to affect various regions, leading to scattered rain and thunderstorms.

Even after leaving PAR, Henry's influence remains. PAGASA confirmed that scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected in Zambales and Bataan due to the tropical depression.
Upcoming Weather Patterns
The southwest monsoon, or *habagat*, is also contributing to weather disturbances across the region. PAGASA forecasts similar conditions in other areas including Occidental Mindoro and the Zamboanga Peninsula.
Sea conditions are likely to be moderate with waves reaching up to 2.5 meters in certain parts of Luzon. Small vessels are advised to exercise caution.

Henry marks the Philippines' eighth tropical cyclone of the year, and the first for July. PAGASA anticipates 9 to 13 additional cyclones entering PAR between July and December 2026.
