Cyberattacks from Iran aimed at Israel have surged dramatically, according to Yossi Karadi, Director General of Israel's National Cyber Directorate. This increase coincides with the escalation of military operations in the region.
Dramatic Rise in Cyber Incidents
Karadi revealed that in June 2025, Israeli authorities documented approximately 1,600 hostile cyber incidents. By June 2026, this number skyrocketed to about 4,800.

The targeted attacks have affected various sectors, including critical infrastructure and small to medium-sized businesses, with some firms reportedly experiencing severe breaches.
