Victor Wembanyama delivered an impressive performance, leading the San Antonio Spurs to a 115-108 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night. This win puts the Spurs ahead 2-1 in their NBA playoff series.

The 7-foot-4 rookie showcased his talent with a remarkable fourth quarter, scoring 16 points and finishing the game with 39 points, 15 rebounds, and five blocks.

"I'm built for this. I love this more than anything else," said Wembanyama.

Despite a strong showing from Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards, who returned from injury to score 32 points, Minnesota struggled early, missing their first 12 shots.

The first half was tightly contested, ending in a 51-51 tie, with both Wembanyama and Edwards contributing heavily to their teams' scores.

The game intensified after halftime, leading to a physical altercation between players. However, Wembanyama maintained his composure, hitting crucial three-pointers.

"Greatness," commented teammate De'Aaron Fox on Wembanyama's performance.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks continued their winning streak, defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 108-94. This victory gives the Knicks a 3-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Jalen Brunson starred with 33 points and nine assists, leading his team to their sixth consecutive win since rallying from a 2-1 deficit against Atlanta in the first round.

The Sixers started strong, with Paul George scoring 15 points in the first quarter, but the Knicks quickly regained control with a dominant second quarter.

Despite a brief comeback attempt from Philadelphia, the Knicks pulled away in the final quarter, leaving the Sixers with little hope of reversing their series deficit.
