Tristan Padilla and Lisa Sarines delivered impressive performances at the ICTSI Sherwood Hills Junior PGT Championship, held at Sherwood Hills Golf Club in Cavite. Both athletes dominated their divisions in the fourth leg of the Luzon Series, effectively clinching their titles during the final round.
Padilla began the day with an 11-stroke lead in the 15-18 division and quickly extended it to 15 strokes after six holes. Consistent and composed, he maintained his grip on the lead, finishing the tournament with a total score of 212, which included a two-under 70 in the final round.
Padilla's performance follows his recent six-stroke victory at John Hay, showcasing his ability to excel on the challenging Sherwood layout.
There’s still a lot of room for improvement, and I’ll keep working on that.

In the same event, Lisa Sarines mirrored her counterpart's success, winning the girls' division by 18 strokes over her twin sister, Mona Sarines. Lisa closed the tournament with a strong 69, resulting in a total score of 214.
Despite her commanding victory, Lisa acknowledged her journey is ongoing, stating her commitment to continuous improvement.
I am still far from my peak form and remain focused on getting better.

Mona Sarines, although showing early promise with four birdies, ended with a 71, placing her at 232. Rafa Anciano finished third with a score of 237.
Padilla and Sarines join previous division winners Zach Guico, Winter Serapio, Race Manhit, and Georgina Handog in this regional series organized by Pilipinas Golf Tournaments Inc.
