National University (NU) continued its dominance in the UAAP men’s volleyball tournament by sweeping Far Eastern University (FEU) in Game 2 of the Finals. The Bulldogs won decisively with set scores of 26-24, 25-22, and 25-22, securing their sixth consecutive championship.

The match took place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, where a lively crowd of 11,526 fans witnessed NU's remarkable performance. This victory marks the team's eighth overall title, solidifying their position as one of the top teams in the league.

Despite finishing second in the elimination round and facing challenges in the playoffs, NU rallied back with three straight wins to clinch the championship. Their journey to glory included overcoming a tough patch with back-to-back losses.

Finals MVP Shines in Key Moments

In the decisive Game 2, NU quickly established control. With a narrow 18-16 lead in the third set, Finals Most Valuable Player Leo Ordiales stepped up, contributing four consecutive points to extend the lead to 22-18.

A powerful crosscourt hit from Jade Disquitado brought NU to match point at 24-20. Although FEU attempted a comeback, NU's Obed Mukaba sealed the victory with a quick kill.
