With this victory, the Knicks have now won 10 consecutive playoff games, establishing a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. They could achieve a historic sweep in Game 4 on Monday in Cleveland.

Historically, no team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in NBA playoff series, placing immense pressure on the Cavaliers.

Brunson expressed the team's focus: "Just focus on one possession at a time. We have to continue that mindset."

New York's previous trip to the Finals was in 1999, where they fell to the San Antonio Spurs. The franchise has not claimed an NBA championship since 1973.

In the latest game, Karl-Anthony Towns put up notable stats with 13 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. Josh Hart also made significant contributions with 12 points, nine rebounds, and four steals.

The Cavaliers, led by Evan Mobley's 24 points and Donovan Mitchell's 23, struggled to maintain momentum after a disappointing loss in Game 1.

New York's early lead was established with a strong shooting performance, going 10-of-13 to start the game and finishing the first quarter at 37-27.

Although Cleveland cut the gap to 60-54 by halftime, they faltered early in the third quarter, allowing the Knicks to regain control.

The Knicks’ success has been attributed to executing their game plan effectively, focusing on ball movement, and tightening their defense.
