Malacañang has officially denied reports suggesting a connection between President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and social media personality Franco Mabanta.
During a press briefing, Palace spokesperson Usec. Claire Castro asserted, "Mabanta is not friends with the President."
Castro also highlighted Mabanta's ties to former President Rodrigo Duterte and Vice-President Sara Duterte, suggesting that inquiries should focus on these relationships.

Mabanta, founder of Peanut Gallery Media Network, was recently arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation for allegedly attempting to extort former House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
