House justice panel chairperson Gerville Luistro has dismissed Vice President Sara Duterte's allegations that some lawmakers are profiting from her impeachment proceedings.
During a news forum in Quezon City, Luistro responded to Duterte's claims that many representatives were being offered money as the House prepares to vote on her impeachment.
I deny that. We did not encounter such an offer. No one talked to me, no one offered and coerced me.

Duterte made her comments during an interview in The Hague, stating that numerous individuals are exploiting her name for financial gain.
Luistro also rejected allegations from Senator Imee Marcos, who claimed that those voting for the impeachment would receive incentives while dissenters would face funding cuts and legal issues.
I have not seen any signs of coercion or offers related to this impeachment case, Luistro reiterated.
She confirmed that a debate would follow her sponsorship speech on Monday, leading to a vote on the impeachment.
Luistro expressed confidence that the necessary votes would be secured, with over 200 representatives signaling their support.
She emphasized the importance of acting swiftly in this constitutional process, stating, 'This must be acted upon with haste.'
The House justice panel approved the committee report containing the Articles of Impeachment last week, which will be presented to the plenary for a vote.
