Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo is set to transform the city into a national innovation hub through ClickConEx 2026, scheduled for June 19-21.
The event will take place at the Heart for Good Governance and aims to connect key players from government, business, and the innovation sector.
Over 500 delegates from different regions, including Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, are expected to attend. Participants will include local officials, national agency representatives, business leaders, and academic institutions.
ClickConEx will focus on Naga City’s 2028 Finish Lines, an eight-point governance agenda aimed at fostering economic growth, environmental sustainability, and improved public services.
Mayor Robredo emphasized the role of technology in enhancing governance and public service delivery. She stated, “Real progress happens when policymakers, the private sector, and academe come together to develop solutions for our people.”
This convention marks one of Robredo’s flagship initiatives under her administration, which began in June 2025. It aims to establish Naga City as a leader in innovation-driven governance.
Naga City has recently gained international attention for its ICT-driven governance. In March 2026, Robredo represented the city at the Yushan Forum and Smart Cities Summit in Taipei, presenting the MyNaga App to a global audience.
Robredo hopes that the innovations developed in Naga will provide a blueprint for other local governments across the Philippines to follow.
