Rep. Leila de Lima has labeled the scene of Sen. Ronald de la Rosa fleeing from individuals attempting to serve an International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant as 'pathetic.'
During a media interview on Tuesday, de Lima shared her reaction after watching the video of the incident, saying, "Honestly, I view the scenery or the scenario, the scene as pathetic. It looked pathetic. Because where is your previous swagger?"
She added that the situation was both amusing and sad, stating, "So it was funny and at the same time, pitiful."
De la Rosa has faced accusations related to unlawful killings during the controversial drug war under former President Rodrigo Duterte. He has denied all allegations.
