The Police Regional Office (PRO) XI is preparing to send 400 personnel to the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) for the parliamentary elections scheduled on September 14.

The deployment will include personnel from various units within PRO XI, ensuring that routine law enforcement in Davao is not compromised.
The Philippine Army's 10th Infantry Division also plans to contribute a battalion, potentially totaling another 400 personnel.
Security assessments have identified 93 election areas of concern based on previous incidents, with the combined police and military force expected to reach over 8,300 personnel on election day.
Atty. Ray Sumalipao, director of the Bangsamoro Electoral Office, affirmed the commitment to proceed with the elections despite legal challenges.
A gun ban is in effect, having started on July 16, with the campaign period commencing on July 30.
