The Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) has publicly endorsed the "White Ribbon Movement March," a significant protest against corruption set for June 28 at the EDSA People Power Monument.
Archbishop Gilbert Garcera, CBCP president, emphasized that various religious groups will converge for this faith-driven initiative, calling for truth, accountability, and justice in public life.
Those who, guided by their conscience and local circumstances, wish to participate in this peaceful gathering may do so prayerfully and respectfully.

Garcera also encouraged attendance at the Eucharistic celebration on the same day, highlighting that faith remains the cornerstone of strength against corruption and injustice.
- Expected attendance of around 100,000 participants
- Involvement of Catholics, Christians, Muslims, and various civil society groups
In a heartfelt message, Garcera urged Filipinos to maintain hope despite the ongoing challenges posed by corruption and the erosion of public trust.
He called for prayers for enlightenment and renewal, seeking the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe for the nation's leaders.
The CBCP's Episcopal Commission on Interreligious Dialogue welcomed politicians to join the march but stipulated that they would not be permitted to address the crowd.
