Rappler's 'Be The Good' roadshow is set to land in Cotabato City from June 7 to 9, 2026, as part of its mission to prepare the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region for its inaugural elections in September.

Empowering Voices in Bangsamoro

The initiative, titled **#AmbagNatin: Boto para sa Bangsamoro**, will feature a series of workshops and a public forum aimed at equipping local youth with the skills to tell their community stories and help dispel misinformation.

Our work in the Bangsamoro region does not begin and end with the roadshow leg.

Rappler Team
  • Workshops on journalism and community storytelling from June 7-8.
  • Public forum featuring talks on the election process and combating disinformation on June 9.

Hosted by Notre Dame University, the roadshow will collaborate with local organizations such as the Institute for Autonomy and Governance and the Commission on Elections (Comelec). The public forum will be held at Tanghalang Michael Clark, focusing on educating voters about the electoral process.

Participants can also engage in a voting simulation exercise provided by Comelec to familiarize themselves with the voting procedures.

Registration for the forum is open to all but required in advance.

This roadshow reflects a broader goal of fostering a well-informed electorate in the Bangsamoro region, especially as it marks a significant shift in its political landscape with the upcoming elections.

For those interested in the Bangsamoro, Rappler maintains a dedicated BARMM page featuring comprehensive stories, analyses, and updates on the region's developments.
