The Philippine National Police (PNP) is set to implement a 5% salary increase for its uniformed personnel next year, a move anticipated to enhance officers' morale and their ability to serve local communities.

This adjustment acknowledges the challenging nature of police work and is part of broader support measures for law enforcement.

Budget Allocation for PNP Personnel

The Department of Budget and Management has allocated PHP73.7 billion for the subsistence needs of uniformed personnel in 2027.

Additionally, a budget of PHP242.5 billion has been designated to the PNP for salaries, benefits, healthcare, and necessary operational expenses.

The increase in the salary of police officers is a fitting recognition of their selfless service to the Filipino people. We thank the national government for the continuous support that boosts the morale of police personnel who secure our communities.

Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., PNP Chief

This salary adjustment is part of ongoing government efforts to improve the welfare of uniformed personnel, underlining their vital role in maintaining public safety.
