Residents in parts of Metro Manila, Rizal, and Cavite are set to face water service interruptions this week, as announced by Manila Water Company Inc. and Maynilad Water Services Inc. Maintenance activities and increased demand are the primary reasons for these planned outages.
Affected Areas and Schedule
- Quezon City: Brgy. Matandang Balara - June 16-17, 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. for line meter replacement.
- Pasig City: Brgy. Pinagbuhatan - June 16-17, 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. for line meter installation.
- Marikina City: Brgy. Concepcion Dos - June 16-17, 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. for line meter replacement.
- Taytay, Rizal: Brgy. Sta. Ana - June 15-16, 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. for valve installation.
- Manila City: Various barangays - June 15, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for network maintenance.
Maynilad has also reported service interruptions across multiple locations in Manila. Areas including Tondo and Sta. Cruz will experience outages due to leak exploration activities from June 15-21.
In Cavite, Imus City will see water interruptions from June 15-17 due to high demand at the Patindig Araw pumping station, affecting numerous barangays.
Residents are advised to store water in advance and to monitor announcements from water service providers for updates.
