Once a single mother who faced the devastating loss of her youngest daughter, Selim now cares for around 30 children who have experienced neglect and trauma.
From Grief to Healing
Selim's journey began with unbearable sorrow after her daughter, an aspiring nursing student, was tragically killed.
Struggling to provide for her four children, Selim worked various jobs before her life took a turn. Following her daughter's death, she took time off work to grieve.
Her path to healing materialized when she found a job at the orphanage, a place that began as employment but transformed into a sanctuary for her spirit.
