The GMA Kapuso Foundation has mobilized to assist more than 89,000 individuals affected by the recent Habagat flooding, which struck various regions of Luzon in August. Many families faced evacuation as heavy rains ravaged their homes.

Through its Operation Bayanihan project, the foundation delivered food packs and essential supplies to impacted areas, including Pampanga, with assistance from the Philippine Coast Guard.
- Aid distributed in Zambales and Bataan
- Support extended to Aeta communities
- Evacuation centers in Tarlac, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Benguet, Quezon City, Bulacan, Pangasinan, and La Union also received assistance
Notably, the foundation also provided food for pets affected by the disaster, acknowledging the needs of families with animals.
