University student Thanaporn Charoenchuea has capitalized on this trend by launching her own service, 'Snap Like a Bestie.' In just two months, she has served over 50 clients, combining photography with companionship.

Travel companion services are also gaining traction. Sasiprapa Nookong utilized a friend-for-hire during a trip to Chiang Mai, showcasing the service's versatility and appeal for solo travelers.
Safety and Boundaries
While the demand for companions grows, providers are mindful of safety. Ice, for instance, screens clients and avoids potentially risky situations, a practice echoed by sociologist Narupon Duangwises.
