The PSA stated that having a national ID does not automatically qualify individuals for any financial assistance. They emphasized that eligibility for benefits depends on existing policies and qualifications set by relevant government agencies.

The misleading information has gained traction on social media, notably from pages that mimic news outlets. The most widely circulated post has reached nearly a million views, featuring a video of an alleged news anchor promoting these false benefits.
As per the PSA, no government agency has announced any such subsidies for vaccine card holders, further reinforcing that these claims are fabricated.
‘Having a National ID does not automatically qualify a person for receiving any type of aid or assistance,’ PSA stated.
