Veena Singh, the Thai beauty queen and first runner-up of the 2023 Miss Universe pageant, turned heads at the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation on May 2. She opted for an all-Filipino glam team to create her stunning look.
During the event, Singh wore a striking red gown designed by Leo Almodal, channeling a glamorous 'Jessica Rabbit' vibe. The gown was fully beaded and featured a bustier top, perfect for her role in introducing the evening gown competition.
Expert Filipino Artists Behind the Glam Look
Makeup artist Carissa Cielo Medved crafted an edgy look for Singh, while hairstylist Florenz styled her voluminous waves. Completing her ensemble were striking dangling earrings by Christopher Munar, adorned with diamonds and rubies.

The glam squad also included stylist Brasty Jaymar, who ensured every detail of Singh's look was flawless. Additionally, the Miss Universe Thailand team brought photographer Jaime Datucali and videographer Ralph Matthew to document her preparation.
Singh attended the event with Nawat Itsaragrisil, Vice President of Miss Universe (Asiana) and president of Miss Grand International. The event took place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, where American-Filipino activist Bea Millan-Windorski was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026.
