Rising stars Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji will lead the new anthology series 'Viva One Originals: RabGel', launching on May 15. This four-part project will highlight their on-screen chemistry while also allowing them to explore individual acting talents.
The series will premiere its episodes weekly on Viva One, following the success of their previous collaborations, including the Wattpad adaptation 'Seducing Drake Palma' and the film 'A Werewolf Boy'.
Unlike past projects, 'RabGel' will feature two episodes showcasing the duo together, while the other two will highlight their performances alongside veteran actors in different narratives.
'We were super excited because after the ‘Werewolf Boy’ film, we have a new series, which is this anthology,' said Angeles during a media event. 'I think it’s perfect because we have a project before the second season of ‘Dating Alice.’'

Muji expressed her enthusiasm for the anthology, viewing it as a chance for personal and professional growth. 'It’s more educational, to be honest. There are four episodes of different genres, so we’ll try different genres,' she remarked.
Episode Breakdown
The series kicks off with 'Ang Rider Kong Hoodlum', featuring Angeles and Muji in an action-romance directed by Philip King. The plot revolves around Marco, a motorcycle taxi rider, who helps passenger Celine escape after she witnesses a crime.
Following this, 'Same Day Error' will stream on May 22, starring Angeles and comedian Jerald Napoles. This comedy directed by Rayn Brizuela sees Angeles as a wedding videographer facing a series of chaotic mishaps.
Muji's episode, 'My CEO Thinks I’m a Robot', premieres on May 29 and features her alongside Carlo Aquino as Aiko, an AI developer who pretends to be a robot for her boss.
The anthology will conclude on June 5 with 'Us, Maybe', a romantic drama directed by Crisanto B. Aquino. It tells the story of influencer Tala, who seeks solace in the province with videographer Michael, played by Angeles.
Both Angeles and Muji highlighted that the solo episodes pushed them to develop their skills while maintaining mutual support.
'They’ll see the different genres that we can do,' Angeles said, emphasizing the variety the anthology will present.
