Navotas City is making strides to redefine its identity beyond its reputation as the Fishing Capital of the Philippines. The city will host the inaugural Navotas Music Fest 2026 on September 26, featuring prominent Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artists.

This festival will take place at the newly inaugurated Navotas Convention Center, a 3,400-seater venue designed to accommodate various events.

A New Chapter for Navotas

Traditionally, residents of Navotas have traveled to other cities for large concerts. However, the music festival is intended to bring entertainment directly to the community, showcasing a blend of established and emerging Filipino artists.

  • Featured artists include Mayonnaise, Cup of Joe, Maki, KAIA, and Room Sessions.
  • Local talents will also perform, although their names have yet to be announced.

It’s always a privilege and an honor for us to be able to perform,” said Mayonnaise frontman Monty Macalino. “I guess the organizers saw that people would enjoy because of our songs.

Organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Navotas Chapter, the festival aims to stimulate the local economy by incorporating a food and lifestyle concession area that highlights Navoteño businesses.

Tickets range from P4,000 for silver seating to P8,000 for VIP options, which include meet-and-greet opportunities with artists.

PCCI Navotas aims to position the city as a cultural and entertainment hub. Plans include a future market inspired by Tokyo’s Tsukiji district, offering a unique experience for tourists and locals alike.
