Affordable Access to Filipino Films
Nagkasundo kami ng Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines na ang presyo ng tickets sa sinehan ay hindi dapat lalagpas ng P299.
Atty. Don Artes, MMDA Chair and MMFF Overall Chair
- Price cap of P299 applies only during the festival period.
- Ticket prices may be lower in provincial areas.
Atty. Don Artes emphasized that the P299 cap is a maximum limit, with the possibility of lower prices in provinces. He noted that the selection committee faced challenges in choosing four films from 26 submitted scripts.
This year's festival will also introduce innovations, including two host cities—San Juan and Mandaluyong—and activities in Bacolod. Artes expressed that film serves as a unifying force, especially during the Christmas season.
