Summers described her hosting stint as a significant milestone in her career but expressed shock at the overwhelming negativity directed towards her. She acknowledged that while differing opinions are expected, the level of hate was alarming.

Her performance received a range of feedback, with some praising her while others criticized her energy levels. Despite the critiques, Summers emphasized the need for acceptance within the LGBTQIA+ community.
