Aquino reported experiencing fever and cough, which began over a week ago. She posted a photo of her antigen test showing a positive result, indicating her current battle with the virus.
In her post, Aquino recounted her health struggles after leaving the hospital. She noted that her eldest son, Josh, started to show symptoms as well, leading her to stay close to him while he wore a mask.
After receiving her Methotrexate chemotherapy injection, she felt significantly weaker and developed a fever over the subsequent days. The situation prompted her to get tested for COVID-19 after speaking with a friend who had also been hospitalized.
