Sparkle artists Katrina Halili and Angel Guardian have both been awarded Best Actress at the 2026 World Class Excellence Japan Awards (WCEJA). The ceremony took place on June 18 at the Heritage Hotel in Pasay City.

The WCEJA is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, honoring outstanding global professionals and performing artists. The event reflects a growing trend of acknowledging Filipino talents on international platforms.
Katrina expressed her emotions upon receiving her first Best Actress award, dedicating the honor to her supporters and emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement in her craft.
In addition to the two leading actresses, Rio Locsin was also honored as Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series for her role in GMA’s action-drama The Master Cutter.
