Jennylyn Mercado has openly expressed her fears regarding the future of her children in light of ongoing issues in the Philippines. Despite these concerns, she and her husband, Dennis Trillo, have no intentions of migrating to the United States.
During a recent contract renewal event for a beauty brand in Quezon City, Mercado stated, "Of course, there is fear. Because the children are the ones who will face the future, right? We want competent and good leaders for the youth."
Commitment to the Philippines
Despite owning a house in the U.S., Mercado emphasized that she is happier in the Philippines. She remarked, "It's still better here; it's different when you're with Filipinos."
The actress also highlighted the impact of rising fuel prices on their daily lives, revealing they sold one of their cars due to the escalating gasoline costs.
We sold our vehicle because we didn't want to use it anymore due to the high gasoline prices. Imagine, that car costs P10,000 per full tank.
