HYBE has unveiled TUIDE, its newest K-Pop girl group, marking a significant moment for the label as they become the first act under the newly established sub-label ABD.

A Diverse Assembly of Young Talent

TUIDE is composed of seven members: Seohee (leader), Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Seah, and Yi Hani (maknae). Their ages range from 15 to 19, showcasing a blend of global influences as members hail from the United States, Japan, Korea, and the UK.

The name TUIDE, pronounced 'tweed', symbolizes the group's mission to "Tune the tide," reflecting their goal of harmonizing individual strengths into a unified artistic expression.

The group aims to balance individuality with collectivity, empowering each member's unique style toward a common goal.

HYBE Management
  • Seohee (Leader, 19 years)
  • Seoyeon (Sister of TWICE's Jihyo, 18 years)
  • Elena (American, 17 years)
  • Jia (Korean-American, 16 years)
  • Saki (Japanese, 15 years)
  • Seah (16 years)
  • Yi Hani (Korean-British, 15 years)

Debuting on August 24, TUIDE released their first EP, *Tune & Play*, featuring the title track *Sun Kiss*. Their debut visuals and sound embody a youthful, playful energy, appealing to the Gen Z audience.

Their formation under ABD, a label created in May 2026 under Pledis Entertainment, positions TUIDE as a pioneering act in the company's girl group strategy. Pledis is known for its success with male groups like SEVENTEEN.

The founding of ABD was inspired by a desire to challenge norms in the K-Pop industry, emphasizing an unconventional path from A to B then D, rather than the standard B to C.

With Han Sung-soo, a veteran of K-Pop production, at the helm, TUIDE is poised to navigate the competitive landscape established by their predecessors.

As TUIDE embarks on their journey, they carry the hopes of not only their management but also fans eager to witness their rise in a genre known for its fierce competition.
