Ian de Leon has shed light on the establishment of a One-Person Corporation (OPC) aimed at preserving the legacy of his late mother, Nora Aunor.

In an appearance on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Ian explained that the OPC encompasses two entities: the for-profit Nora Aunor Enterprise and the non-profit Nora Aunor Foundation.

A Dual Purpose for Legacy Management

The Nora Aunor Enterprise will engage in various projects such as concerts and documentaries focused on Aunor's illustrious career, while 15% of the enterprise's earnings will support the foundation.

‘Yung enterprise ay sa for profit entity, meaning to say we have plans of doing shows, concerts, documentary, exhibits, whatnot, musicals and stuff like that that’s why established also the other entity, the Nora Aunor Foundation, so that 15% of the proceeds from the enterprise will go to the foundation.

Ian faced backlash from his adopted sister, Matet de Leon, who claimed that family members were not consulted regarding the OPC. However, he insists that they discussed the concept during a memorial service for Nora.
