Dingdong Dantes expressed gratitude for the successful premiere of his new series, *The Master Cutter*. The show aired its pilot episode on May 11 and garnered a strong TV rating of 10.5, according to NUTAM People Ratings.
Dantes, who portrays Atoy, a scout ranger, thanked fans for their overwhelming support. In a Facebook post, he highlighted the impressive performance of guest actor Miguel Tanfelix, who portrayed Galo Villareal. The two actors engaged in an action-packed gunfight during the show's opening.
He shared, “Okay na okay na 'toh Ang aming surprise guest sa #TheMasterCutter ay wala nang iba kundi ang napakahusay na si Miguel Tanfelix. Masaya rin ang naging bakbakan kasama sina Johnvic, Mark Newman, at Seb sa matinding aksyon sa Ilocos Sand Dunes.”
Dantes noted the challenging conditions of filming, stating, “Alikabok, init, bugbugan...sulit lahat.” Viewers can catch *The Master Cutter* weeknights on GMA Prime, right after *24 Oras*, with a delayed telecast on GTV at 9:45 p.m.
