CJ Opiaza, the reigning Miss Grand International, is set to co-host the preliminary round of the MGI All-Stars competition. The event will take place on May 27 and will include segments for evening gown and 'bare face' categories.
Joining Opiaza on stage will be Thai beauty queen Veena Praveenar Singh, who was the first runner-up at the 74th Miss Universe pageant, and Zhao Na, the 2026 Miss Universe Asia from China.
The announcement was made through the official Miss Grand International social media channels on May 9, revealing the exciting lineup of hosts.
Danilo Carrera, a well-known Ecuadorian actor and model, has been confirmed as the host for the final competition, which is scheduled for May 30 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok.
The MGI All-Stars is a new international pageant that celebrates beauty queens from various global competitions. This unique event is open to women aged 20 to 40, including those who are single, divorced, or widowed, as well as mothers and transgender women.
Among the five representatives from the Philippines participating in the event are notable figures such as Fuschia Anne Ravena, the 2022 Miss International Queen winner, and Gazini Ganados, the 2019 Miss Universe Philippines.
The winner of the MGI All-Stars will receive a cash prize of $100,000, with the potential to earn up to $1 million if she successfully defends her title in the following two seasons.
