BGYO is set to return to acting in the hit series 'Born to Shine,' much to the excitement of fans. The P-pop group previously guest-starred in the show, and now they are back to deliver more engaging performances.
In a recent report on '24 Oras,' Gelo Rivera expressed gratitude for the positive feedback they received from viewers, who became acquainted with the group through the series.
"We're thankful because we've been receiving a lot of feedback from people and we would find out that they learned about us through 'Born to Shine,'" said Gelo Rivera.
The members, including JL Toreliza, noted that after watching the initial episodes, they were left wanting more, which fueled their excitement to return.
"We were left wanting when we watched the episodes, so we're happy that we're returning and we'll have more scenes with the cast," added JL.

"I guess it's funnier now because I feel like we're closer after having bonded before. It's just nice to see them part of the show again," she said.
BGYO first appeared in 'Born to Shine' in May 2026, showcasing their chemistry with the cast. The group, consisting of Gelo, Nate, Mikki, JL, and Akira Morishita, has been actively engaging with fans through music and performances.
The group recently released their single 'Fresh' in February and participated in various events, including the DUNK Showcase in Japan and the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation night.
'Born to Shine' airs Mondays to Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime, promising more exciting episodes featuring BGYO.
