Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan, popularly known as DonBelle, were visibly emotional as they shared final messages to each other during the media launch for their upcoming film 'Tayo Sa Wakas'. This film marks their last project as a love team for the foreseeable future.
During an interview with Bianca Gonzalez, the two actors expressed pride in each other's journeys. "I know that we may not be working with each other in the near future, but I’ll always be here and I’m so proud of you," Pangilinan told Mariano, who was already teary-eyed.

'Tayo Sa Wakas' follows the story of Cisco and Cheska, a couple contemplating their relationship during a trip meant for a breakup. The film explores themes of love and personal growth, aligning with the duo's desire to transition into more mature roles.
Pangilinan explained that the project was timely for their growth as actors, stating, "It had to get to a point where the material was right for this kind of transition. This is why it’s the right project for us."
Mariano emphasized the importance of authenticity in their performances, stating they aspire to be recognized as individual actors rather than just as a pair.
As they prepare to take on new challenges beyond the DonBelle label, both actors expressed excitement for future opportunities. Mariano remarked, "I have so many things I want to try, and it’s okay to not know what’s next."
