Bangladesh and South Korea have announced their national selection processes for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest Asia, adding to the excitement as the event approaches.
National Selection Details
In Bangladesh, NTV, in collaboration with producer Bongo, has opened applications for potential contestants. Aspiring artists can apply until June 10, with twelve finalists set to be revealed on June 21.
These finalists will receive intensive training before competing in the national final on August 23.
Meanwhile, South Korea’s ENA channel is on the hunt for the country’s representative. South Korean citizens aged 18 and above are encouraged to submit original songs by June 30.
Successful applicants will learn of their selection by July 13, with the national final scheduled for September 4.
The winner of Eurovision Song Contest Asia will earn a spot in the grand final of the main Eurovision Song Contest next year, set to take place in Bulgaria.
