Cadet 1st Class Christine Kaye Demisana Librada from Lipa City, Batangas, has been named the valedictorian of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 2026.
Librada is celebrated as the eighth female cadet to achieve this distinction since women first entered the academy in 1997.
The PMA announced the top ten cadets of the Talang Dangal Class of 2026, with five being women.

Librada has received numerous awards, including the Presidential Saber, recognizing her academic excellence and leadership skills.
She follows in the footsteps of previous female valedictorians such as Arlene dela Cruz and Jeneth Elumba.
A total of 207 cadets will graduate on May 16, 2026, consisting of 142 males and 65 females.
The bulk of graduates will join the Army, followed by the Navy and the Air Force.
Only one of the graduates is a college graduate prior to admission, while the majority are recent senior high school graduates.
