Two men have been charged with the rape and murder of 17-year-old Freya Mae Go in Bacolod City, nearly seven months after her tragic death.

The Bacolod City Prosecutor's Office received the rape with homicide charges on May 29 from the Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR). The suspects, identified by aliases Jac and Bry, reside in Barangay Estefania.

Investigation Details and Community Impact

Freya Mae Go was reported missing in October 2025, and her body was discovered on October 22 in a vacant lot in the reclamation area of Barangay 12. An autopsy revealed she died from asphyxiation and showed signs of sexual abuse.
