The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has successfully identified the license plate number of a vehicle linked to a gas-and-run incident. The car, a gray blue Toyota Vios, allegedly left a gas station in Barangay Bahay Toro without paying for P1,500 worth of fuel.
The incident occurred around 3:16 a.m. on May 3, 2026. Police utilized CCTV footage and coordinated with nearby establishments to track down the vehicle, which bears the plate number CBK 7953.
According to QCPD, the Toyota Vios was purchased from Toyota Nueva Ecija and is registered under Toyota Financial Services Philippines Corporation. It is currently leased to an individual identified only as 'Jherosalyn.'
Authorities are calling on Jherosalyn to cooperate with the ongoing investigation. They also encourage the public to report any information that might lead to the identification or location of the driver.
