The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has taken significant measures against a motorist involved in a violent altercation captured in a viral video. The driver's license has been revoked for two years following a road rage incident in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.
Background of the Incident
On May 9, the LTO issued a show-cause order to the involved driver, prompting a hearing on May 14. The altercation involved two motorcycle riders, one of whom allegedly stabbed the other with a screwdriver.
Improper behavior of a motorist has no place on the road. Any motorist who will show a behavior that can endanger others will be held liable under the law and guidelines of the LTO.
